Trubby trubs

OK my New Year's resolution was to keep this blog updated and I'm failing miserably. This week was quite possibly the worst ever, luckily I have the cutest savannah on earth to cheer me up and keep me occupied with her antics. Good antics and bad antics. Here are some examples:

Good antics:
1. Climbing on doors and scaling the moulding on the wall. Yes, she can do this. She actually loves to do this. She will ask people to lift her up so she can jump around on top of doors for a while. And if no one will pick her up, she climbs from the cat tree to the wall.

2. Fetching her hedgehog. I can't wait until I have a good video of this. There was one excellent one on my last camera but my camera got stolen in DC so someone out there gets to enjoy a video of a crazy savannah kitten fetching a hedgehog with some girls laughing like hyenas in the background, but not us. :(

3. Destroying my tree. You would think this was a bad antic, but this poor tree is so beyond the point of no return that it is just plain funny now. She has been battling with it since day 1 and is definitely winning.

Bad antics:
1. Climbing on the stove when the oven is on. Yes this scares me to death. Luckily she doesn't get up there when the range is on but as soon as the oven is on, she climbs right on top like a lizard on a heat rock to warm her belly up. We have to close her out of the kitchen when we're cooking to avoid this.

2. Breaking drinking glasses. I know I should be trained by now to NEVER leave a drinking glass around the house but anyone who knows me would understand that this is a virtually impossible task. I swear she can smell drinking glasses. The second I leave one out and turn my back, withing seconds it is smashed into a million pieces on the floor and Trouble is standing on the counter blinking at me with this bad face that is full of mischevious satisfaction. She knows what's up but I think she just can't resist.

The picture of Trouble on top of the door is EXACTLY her mother!

And the drinking glass trick is the reason I only have sports bottles of water in the house. Her mommy MuMu has a fascination for gravity and will push anything off a height just to watch it fall..

Yes, I think she has a lot of Karamu in her. Especially when I look at pics of Nuke - he has a much more Kashka influenced face.

I'm learning to use plastic bottles, slowly. :)
