Minka likes the dead leaves that are beginning to fall

No new pics but Miss Trouble Minka is doing well after our move. She was not amused being dragged across the country in a kitty carrier, even after long trials and many practices with the carrier in SF. The last leg of the journey was in a very small aircraft with only 9 people, all you could hear was Miss loudy-pants yelling her head off. I had to apologize to everyone on the flight - they were all quite understanding however.

Satchel, my roommate's resident orange kitty is a slow adjuster and is taking a while to get used to her. Although they are not friends yet, there is minimal hissing and sometimes I even catch them play-chasing around. There are windows on the ground floor in my new apartment and Minka loves to watch the birds and squirrels and yell at the gardeners.

I am posting a tribute to a much loved non-cat friend who deserves a post of her own. Misty was a great goat and we miss her.
